Chickpeas Masala

Chickpeas Masala a very tasty, quick and easy recipes from South India.

Ingredients

Set I

1. Onion – 1 Nos
2. Tomato – 1 Nos
3. Ginger – 1 Cube size
4. Garlic – 1 Clove

Set II

1. Chickpeas – 200 Grms (Half cooked)
2. Curry Leaves – 1 Nos
3. Kashmiri Chilly Powder – 1 Spoon
4. Coriander Powder – 2 Spoon
5. Turmeric Powder – 1 Spoon
6. Chopped Spring Onion – 1 Bowl
7. Olive Oil – 4 Spoons
8. Green Chilli – 1 Nos (Long Sliced)
9. Salt – To taste
10. Water – 2 Cup
11. Chopped Coriander leaves – 1/2 Bowl

How to prepare

1. Make Set I as paste and set aside.

2. Set a pan in to fire, then flow two spoon Oil to the pan.

3. When the oil heat add Sliced green chilli, Curry leaves and then add Set I mix to it.

4. Mix it well in oil till the gravy become light brown and oil separate from it.

5. Then add 3,4,5 items from Set II. Again mix well for 5 mins. Then add Half cooked Chickpeas with water.

6. Add Salt to taste. Now gravy and Chickpeas need to mix well, then close the pan and cook for 10- 15 mins.

7. After 15 mins cooked chickpeas Masala release from fire and garnish with Chopped Coriander leaves and Chopped Spring Onion.

Now Chickpeas Masala is ready to serve.

PS – We can serve it with Chappati, Paratta or Fried Rice.
